Safe, attractive and effective, the Honda Accord has been Honda’s flagship for decades, and for great reasons! A regular on Car and Driver’s annual 10Best Cars list, it’s a favorite of critics and drivers alike. It features driver-pleasing powertrains, smart design, a clean look, and the latest information, entertainment, and safety tech. Let’s take a look at everything the new 2025 Honda Accord has to offer!
The 2025 Honda Accord feature two engines under the hood. The base engine is a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 192 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. It runs through a continuously variable transmission (CVT), and gets 29 MPG around town and up to 37 MPG highway. An available hybrid system pairs a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with dual electric motors and a lithium-ion battery pack. Providing 204 horsepower and 247 lb-ft of instant torque, it runs through an Electronic CVT with deceleration sensors. This unit balances performance and economy – Car and Driver timed it at 6.6 seconds in their 0-60 mile-per-hour test demonstrating its acceleration, while the powertrain is also thrifty at the pump, with 51 MPG city and 44 MPG highway.
Timeless design defines the 2025 Honda Accord, with a long hood and deep, sloping roofline similar to past generations, along with a front and rear fascia with hints of luxury. Honda offers a range of wheels to choose from, ranging from base 17-inch silver-painted versions to luxury 19-inch black alloy wheels. Other exterior accents can be added, individually and as parts of packages.
The cabin of the 2025 Accord is spacious and features upscale materials and surfaces such as soft-touch areas and premium upholstery. Supportive rear seats offer 40.8 inches of legroom and 37.3 inches of headroom, while in the front there is 39.5 inches of headroom.
